Some of you may be mourning the recent hook up between Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) in The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 16, “Bring It On” — others may be replaying it over and over. But what did their naked time mean for the hybrid/werewolf pair?
Both will appear in the pilot for The Vampire Diaries spin-off, The Originals, but according to TV Guide, that sexy scene wasn’t setting them up to become a couple. And Joseph Morgan tells the site that Elijah (Daniel Gillies) won’t necessarily be falling for the sassy werewolf, either.
"Because we were the first people cast — myself, Daniel Gillies, and Phoebe Tonkin — it's easy to assume that it'll be a love triangle with Haley and the two brothers, but it's something so utterly different," Joseph explains. "That would be a cheap shot to have a carbon copy of The Vampire Diaries, which [the spin-off] really isn't."
Maybe Hayley will be too wrapped in finding her family to cozy up with either Original brother. Yet she’ll still have to spend some time with Klaus. He’s the one that knows all about her birthmark, after all.And don’t despair, fans of supernatural sexiness. There are still plenty of other ladies for the Mikaelson brothers to romance: two witches and a human.
